Moto Choice – Car Phone Holder Review

Moto Choice was kind enough to send me a CD slot mountable phone holder to review. You can check the product out on Amazon here. Check out my entire review below!

Unboxing

The product came in a small and simple box. It was packaged well and organized in a styrofoam tray inside the box. Nothing to exciting, but for a simple phone mount I would say they did an excellent job.

In the box was the mount itself and a few pieces of magnetic metal. One piece was designed to go solely between your phone and a case to attached to the mount. The other has plastic coating on it and 3M adhesive on the back to attach it directly to your phone (Note: I did not do this option as I am not interested in having something permanently attached to my phone!).

Using the Mount

It’s been several weeks and I have been utilizing the mount in my vehicle. It is very stable and it puts the phone in a great location (front and center) for use. Using the ‘360’ degree swivel is convenient for both driver and passenger and it allows you to select the angle and direction of the phone with ease.

My Opinion

Using this mount is convenient and easy when you are in the car. The CD slot mount concept obviously limits your usage of the actual CD slot, but it does not affect the playback of CDs. The only thing that I am not a huge fan of is when your phone is in portrait mode you can not view the display on the radio. This will vary depending on your vehicle, but it is a minor nuisance to consider. That aside, it looks like you can get this mount for about $15 on Amazon right now, an excellent price. For that price, you can’t really go wrong!
